DOVER – Today, Governor Matt Meyer proudly announced that Jennifer Donahue has been sworn in as a judge on the Sussex County Family Court. She was confirmed by the Delaware State Senate earlier this afternoon.
“Judge Donahue brings a deep well of experience, compassion, and integrity,” said Governor Meyer. “Her decades of service to children, families, and survivors of abuse demonstrate her unwavering dedication. Now, as an official member of the Sussex County Family Court bench, her leadership will make a lasting difference for Delaware families.”
Donahue is filling a newly created seat. As Sussex County’s population growth booms, the Sussex County Family Court is experiencing an increasingly heavy workload. A new Sussex County Family Court facility is currently under construction and is slated to be completed by the end of the year.
